The tool also is great for estimating the cost of the project and evaluating bulk mulch delivery or digiorno… I mean delivery or buying bags of mulch at the store.
I’m no expert in landscaping but my research recommended roughly one to four inches of depth per area. Also, even though the calculator will do the conversion, bags of mulch are usually measured in cubic feet while bulk mulch is cubic yards.
How to Use
- Open the spreadsheet and Enter the Length, Width, and Depth in cubic feet to determine the total cubic footage of your project. The template allows for up to 20 sections of a project, plus another line for extra mulch.
- Enter the Bag price in cubic feet and the price you will pay per bag.
- Enter the Pricing information for Bulk mulch delivery.
